Episode Rankings: Nichijou

Nichijou is one of the greatest TV shows ever made, and one of the funniest for that matter. The jokes are frequent but they almost always land, the animation is absolutely stunning and elevates the comedy, and best of all, Nichijou is just plain heartwarming. Nano and Mio's whole storylines throughout the show lead to some incredibly heartfelt and genuine moments, and all of the one-off characters and gags pay off spectacularly in the last few episodes. This really is a perfect anime, and here's my ranking of its episodes:

1. Episode 25 - That goddamn voucher scene...
2. Episode 16 - The most unintentionally affirming episode of TV I've ever seen, Nano is in fact Nano
