Master Of None was a pretty great show when it was airing. It was a inventive comedy that managed to be funny, heartfelt, and incredibly experimental while also tackling a lot of grounded and at times serious themes. There was a charm to it, and the Italy-centric second season definitely helped. I haven't seen the third season yet though, it may as well have just been a spinoff given how different it seems from the rest of the series. Here's my ranking of the episodes of the first two seasons of Master Of None:
- Thanksgiving (S2.08)
- Mornings (S1.09)
- First Date (S2.04) - This is how I discovered the Scatman.
- Amarsi Un Po (S2.09)
- Buona Notte (S2.10)
- Le Nozze (S2.02) - The perfect Italy travel advertisement
- Finale (S1.10)
- Nashville (S1.06)
- The Thief (S2.01)
- Parents (S1.02) - Aziz Ansari's parents are a revelation
- The Dinner Party (S2.05)
- Hot Ticket (S1.03)
- Ladies And Gentlemen (S1.07)
- The Other Date (S1.05)
- Indians On TV (S1.04)
- Plan B (S1.01)
- Door #3 (S2.07)
- Old People (S1.08)
- Religion (S2.03)
- New York, I Love You (S2.06) - I wish I loved this episode as much as everyone else, but I just couldn't bring myself to care about any of these one-off characters
